An Ultra-Marathon Experience to Raise Awareness for Macon County CASA
Well if you haven’t heard Macon Miles was a huge success with 32 runners in all! Crawford’s Pizza in Maroa did a great job feeding us afterwards. We had beautiful weather and the best runners in the world. Kevin Smith and Brian Bell finished the 40 miles with only a few slow steps late in the run. Kevin is already thinking about next years Ultra Marathon to benefit Macon County CASA! Fantastic job and a great way to get the information out about Macon County CASA. Now everyone support the Betsy Smith Run in September as CASA will again be the recipient of part of those proceeds.
Thanks to all who supported, ran, donated, volunteered or did anything to make this event a huge success!!
